Christine Smith has noticed that many of her higher-education clients are taking some time to reflect after a year of uncertainty and crises during the pandemic. Smith, managing director of Baker Tilly US, LLP’s higher education advisory practice, advises colleges and universities as they shore up finances, explore new partnerships and weigh strategies to adding, drop or augment academic programs that align with the fast-changing demands of students and employers alike.
